Inside this book you'll find more than 75 patterns for your potholder looms: in plain weave, shadow weave, and twill and other advanced patterns.
The majority of these are new, never charted for potholder weaving before; and the rest are strong, classical patterns chosen to complete the collection.
This book includes patterns for tradtional (7"), PRO (10") and rectangular placemat looms.
One chapter will teach you how to convert weaving drafts for the potholder loom, reverse engineer any potholder, and chart your own original design...
Deborah Cohen, author and creator of this wonderful book is donating 100% of the net profits to the construction fund for Thegtse Sangyè Chöling monastery. All labor is voluntary, there are no salaries paid.
They patterns are different and the diverse ideas and creative styles was just what I’m looking for.

Lots of Ideas!
Very interesting book with lots of "out of the box" ideas for different kinds of patterns. Really gave me something to think about. Tried weaving a potholder from an old pair of black socks with their instructions. It was a little rough, so will look for different kind of sock, but adding the little plastic loop is a nice touch!
