I have my mother's metal loom from the 1930's and my mine from the 60's. When I saw the ads for the 10 inch potholders, it was a no-brainer for me. I love this size and all of the available colors!

GEE!! I struggled with the last few rows of my potholder and bent the hook -- straightened it out and next potholder, bent again. Thought I needed a spare. They're strong -- but to pull loops through the tightest part and dealing with the metal pegs on each side, just couldn't withstand the struggle. All is well.

I have made about 20 potholders and the tool is like brand new.

Heavy duty pro hook gets the job done. Weaving the last few loops sometimes needs a little extra oooph and this hook stands up to the extra pulling.
