Class, Workshop & Club Terms

These terms apply to all in-person classes, workshops, and clubs at Acorns & Twigs, 112 W Jackson Street, Centerville, Iowa. Any details specific to a class (ages, what to bring, minimum class size) are listed on that class's page.

Registration & Seating

Registration is required for all classes. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Some classes require a minimum number of participants. If a class doesn't reach its minimum by noon the day before, we'll let everyone registered know that the class is cancelled and refund the registration fee.

Cancellation Policy

Due to limited seating and advance material preparation, class registrations are non-refundable the week before the event. Cancellations requested more than a week in advance may be eligible for a partial refund minus a 30% cancellation fee.

If you are unable to attend, please contact us at least 48 hours before class and we will do our best to transfer your registration to a future class when possible. No-shows and last-minute cancellations cannot be credited or refunded.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled. Late arrivals may miss important instruction and we cannot guarantee extended teaching time.

Food & Drinks

Mess-free refreshments are welcome. We ask that drinks have a lid to avoid spills.

Children & Supervision

Children 9 and under require active adult supervision during class unless otherwise noted on the class page.

Behavior & Safety

We strive to maintain a welcoming and respectful environment for all guests. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from class without refund.

Photos & Social Media

By attending class, you grant Acorns & Twigs permission to photograph the class environment for marketing and social media purposes. Please let us know before class if you prefer not to appear in photos.

Handmade Variations

Handmade projects will vary from sample photos. Creativity and individuality are part of the experience!

Liability Waiver

By participating, guests acknowledge that crafting activities may involve sharp tools and accept responsibility for their participation.
