Private Party & Group Booking Agreement

We're so excited to create with you!

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, gathering with friends, or simply looking for a fun and creative experience, we're delighted to be part of your special occasion!

To help everything run smoothly, we've put together a few simple guidelines. Please take a moment to review them before booking.

Reservations & Payment

  • Private parties require a minimum of 6 participants.
  • All parties must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.
  • A nonrefundable $50 deposit is required to reserve your date and time. This deposit will be applied toward your total party cost.
  • Pricing is per participant and includes the supplies needed for your selected project.
  • Your final guest count must be confirmed at least 7 days before your event so we can prepare materials for everyone.
  • Any remaining balance is due according to the payment arrangements established at booking.

Rescheduling

We understand that plans sometimes change, and rescheduling is always our first choice!

  • Please contact us at least 48 hours before your event to reschedule. We'll work with you to find a new date based on availability, and your deposit and any payments will carry over to the new date.
  • Each booking may be rescheduled up to 2 times.
  • If the rescheduled date(s) don't work out either, the booking will be treated as a cancellation under the policy below. You're always welcome to start a new booking with a new $50 deposit.

Cancellations

Because we reserve time specifically for your group and prepare materials in advance, the following cancellation policies apply:

  • The $50 booking deposit is nonrefundable.
  • If you cancel more than 7 days before your scheduled event, any payments beyond the $50 deposit will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of your event are nonrefundable.
  • No-shows and last-minute cancellations cannot be refunded or credited toward future events.

We appreciate your understanding. These policies help us prepare a wonderful experience for your group!

Arrival & Party Time

We want you to enjoy every minute of your creative time!

  • Please plan to arrive approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled start time to get settled.
  • Parties begin and end at their scheduled times.
  • Late arrivals may miss important instructions, and we cannot guarantee additional teaching time.

Food & Beverages

Planning to bring snacks or treats? We'd love to help you make it work!

  • Outside food and beverages must be approved by Acorns & Twigs management before your event.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not permitted at private parties.
  • Food must remain on a designated table away from crafting materials.
  • To protect our supplies and equipment, please avoid sticky, greasy, or messy foods near yarn, wool, looms, and other crafting materials.
  • We ask that drinks have lids to avoid spills.

Children & Supervision

We love inspiring creativity in makers of all ages!

Children ages 9 and under require active adult supervision throughout the event unless otherwise noted. The party organizer is responsible for ensuring that appropriate adult supervision is provided.

Caring for Our Creative Space

Our store is a place for creativity, connection, and fun! We ask that all guests treat one another, our staff, and our supplies with kindness and respect.

Before heading out, we appreciate your group's help with a little tidying up:

  • Dispose of trash in designated bins.
  • Wipe down tables and workspaces.
  • Return shared supplies and tools to their proper places.

A little teamwork helps us keep the creative magic going for everyone! For everyone's comfort and safety, disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the event without a refund.

Photos & Social Media

We love celebrating creativity and sharing the wonderful things our guests make! During your event, we may take photographs of the creative space, activities, or finished projects to share on our website or social media.

If you or anyone in your group prefers not to appear in photographs, please let us know before the event. We're happy to respect your wishes!

Handmade Creations & Safety

One of the best things about handmade projects is that no two turn out exactly alike! Your finished creation may look a little different from our samples, and that's part of the fun.

Some crafting activities involve scissors, needles, sharp tools, or other materials that require care. By participating, guests acknowledge these potential risks and agree to follow instructor guidance and use tools responsibly.

Booking Agreement

By checking the agreement box, completing your reservation, and submitting your deposit, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to this Acorns & Twigs Private Party & Group Booking Agreement.

As the party organizer, you also agree to share these guidelines with your guests before the event.
