This listing is for 50g of Mulberry Silk Hankies - also known as Mawata Squares. From Bombyx Mori Silkworms.

These are super duper thin "hankies" sheets made by stretching the cocoon of the Mulberry silk worm over a frame.

They are not dyed and ready for any acid coloring you choose

You will receive 50g of hankies with this order.

You can simply pull them apart - Carefully. I recommend using rubber gloves, the thin fibers tend to stick to everything - even hangnails you didn't even know you had! ;)

Gently pull them into a long strip and use for spinning.

Or leave them as they are for nuno felting and other wet felting projects. They are very fine and delicate.

Perfect for spinning, felting, dyeing, knitting, felting, bead making, paper making and other fiber arts.
