Great for making your own DIY cherry pit heat pad or cold pack.
- sew them into a simple pillow and
- heat them on your heater, in the microwave or in the sun for a heating pad or
- pack in a plastic bag to protect it, place into the freezer for 30 minutes for an ice pack
- used by massage therapists, coaches, vets and parents.
- make all sorts of sizes, small to fit into your winter coat for warm hands or over your eyes for headaches, extra large for your back or shoulder pain, or middle sized for menstrual cramps and warm feet under your blanket!
Reuse-able and Eco Friendly!
Cherries Pits are thermal insulators. Cherry Pits are often preferred over other natural fillers such as rice, corn, barley and split because they do not start to smell after several uses and do not attract insects and moths.
I love filling cherry stones together with some lavender (or drops of essential oils) into stuffed animals for cuddly warm friends to help my children on sick days and cold winter evenings.
Putting them into a doll adds a wonderful weight for a more natural feeling of a baby and helps the doll sit on its own.
