Fibers loosened and aligned during carding processes. Impurities and short fibers are removed for consistent quality.

At 31 microns, this is a medium-coarse fiber — excellent for felting projects with reliable results. The carding process creates a shorter-fiber structure than combed wool, making it best suited for experienced spinners and felters. 

Sold by the ounce. 

Fiber fineness is measured in microns (mic), referring to individual fiber diameter.

Lower micron counts indicate finer, softer wool.
